Chris Byers

Hi there! I'm a software developer by day and videographer by night. I started freelancing in 2013 after an 11 year career in the defense industry, and I have been bringing fresh ideas to life ever since.

I have over 20 years of experience in the software/IT industry ranging from low level embedded microchip systems to architecting security infrastructure for nationwide sites. In the middle, I have developed simulation models for FLIR, image tracking and matching systems, backend systems written in node.js, Python, frontend systems in React, native Android apps, React Native apps, and Unity 3D apps and games.

I am currently the CTO of a healthcare startup devoted to building out a platform for cancer patients utilizing Aptible Enclave, Google Firebase, and other leading edge technologies.
